Clamps - Marvels of the Modern World

Often, the simplest designs are the most revolutionary as well. Starting from the paper clip to the pulley to a never-ending list. Coming from the same league are hose clamps. Hose clamps are multipurpose fittings that not just help in fastening, but also holding the pipes and helping them withstand the high-pressure forces from inside which if not held well, could result in leakage or other damages. Hose clamps find their use in sealing the pipe joints and tightening them as well in a highly efficient manner such that there are minimal chances of liquid leakage. Jolly Clamps are the proud V Band Clamps Manufacturers, V-Band Couplings Distributors, Turbo Clamps Distributors and the manufacturers of the famous Lined Worm Drive Clamps. Let’s have a brief of all of them:

V-Band Clamps: V-Band clamps are perhaps one of the key players in their field. Invented by Herbert Marx, these fittings are used in to join and hold flanges of almost all sizes together. They are manufactured in various materials and interestingly, are of great importance in the automobile industry.

V-Band Couplings: V-Band Couplings are basically made from V-segments which are spot-welded to a metal band. These V-segments are multiple and uniformly spaces and have a V-shape groove that is fitted to the flange which helps in leak free tightening of the hoses.

Turbo Clamps: These are small size clamps but as the name suggests they are designed for heavy duty. When it comes to withstanding the forces of turbo or the heat released from under-bonnet in automobiles. These are the perfect clamping solutions for leakage and slipping.

Lined Worm Drive Clamps: They are functionally almost the same as V-Band clamps. But there is a major difference in the designs. There are no inner linings in these clamps like in the V-band clamps. They are smooth so that while tightening these clamps the hose material doesn’t get affected or damaged. For more info, follow us on Facebook.
